COMPUTING FOR SENIORS
One of the biggest misconceptions is that seniors are out of touch with technology. The truth is, with some personalised assistance to get started, many people over 60 get real benefits from joining the "digital world", including remaining in contact with loved ones, finding new friendships, building a support network, learning new things and having fun!
ECS can help you increase your confidence and skills on the computer with lessons led by our experienced teacher.
-
One‐on‐one private lessons tailored to your level of knowledge
-
Monday mornings (between 9.30am & 12.30pm)
-
Each lesson is 45 minutes
-
$50 for 5 lessons [free for My Aged Care referrals for Social Support Individual]
-
Learn basic computer and internet skills to get you started
Our lovely computer teacher, Alan, can assist with mobile phones too, giving tips on how to download apps etc!
The fee is payable upfront, and contributes to the costs of running ECS Resource Centre, including our rent to Sutherland Shire Council for the building, photocopying, phone charges, etc.
ECS Aged Services clients are subsidised for Computers for Seniors if they are eligible for CHSP and have the appropriate My Aged Care referral.
